Bio I am for the most part a self taught/naïve artist. I grasped the significance of creating at a notably young age and am currently an Art History major at Mansfield University in Pennsylvania. I believe that creating is not only essential for the artist but for the observer. My works are both sentimentally charged and fundamentally driven. For me the creative process is more about self expression rather than technique and therefore, I consistently strive to paint intuitively. Although I have experimented with other mediums, such as paper and other miscellaneous found items in my collage/mixed media works, acrylic is my preferred medium. I love the way the versatile acrylic flows freely beneath my brush and I like to explore and demonstrate the beauty in imperfection. I exhibit works regularly at many different art venues throughout Illinois, Missouri, and Michigan. My portfolio has been accepted by Trunkt, a juried New York City based renowned international premier directory of creative entrepreneurs.
